How coat of arms maker credits work

Start with complimentary credits

New accounts receive 30 credits valid for 30 days. Explore up to three Standard designs or create one HD design within your balance. Each new generation uses credits, including another attempt with a revised brief.

Choose the resolution for your project

Standard costs 10 credits and requests a 1K square image for exploring ideas and everyday digital use. HD costs 30 credits and requests a 4K square image for larger layouts. Review the result at your intended size before preparing it for print.

Know when credits are used

Credits are charged when a generation request is accepted. If the image provider reports a failure, those credits are restored. Successful crests remain in your private archive, where you can download the original without spending credits on another generation.

Choose Standard for exploration

Standard creates a 1K image for 10 credits. It is a useful starting point when you are deciding between a lion and a tree, comparing color choices, or checking whether a short brief communicates your idea. Begin with one configuration, review the result, and change one major choice at a time. A new account with its full 30-credit allowance can request up to three Standard generations during the credit validity period. That is a maximum within the balance, not a promise that three attempts will all match your expectations.

Choose HD when you want a larger image

HD creates a 4K image for 30 credits. Select it when the larger digital output is useful to your project and you are ready to spend more of your balance on that attempt. HD is a new generation at a different resolution, not an upgrade button that converts an existing Standard image into the exact same artwork at a larger size. It also does not turn the image into an editable vector file, guarantee accurate lettering, or certify suitability for a particular printer or physical product.

Plan a mixed credit budget

Plan each generation within the available allowance. For example, one Standard attempt uses 10 credits and leaves 20 for two more Standard attempts. Two Standard attempts use 20 credits and leave 10 for one final Standard attempt. One HD generation uses all 30 complimentary credits. You cannot combine an HD generation with Standard attempts using only the initial allowance. Before submitting, read the cost displayed beside the selected tier. Check it again after reusing a saved configuration rather than assuming the last resolution is still selected.

Know the difference between a failure and a revision

If a generation is confirmed failed, the service restores the credits associated with that failed task. A task that is still processing or awaiting attention is not the same as a confirmed failure; follow its status rather than submitting repeated replacement requests. A successfully generated image that you would prefer to change is a revision request and uses credits again. Review the brief, symbol, palette, and style before sending it. This makes it easier to identify what to change if the first result is not what you intended.

Save the image you want to keep

Completed designs appear in your private crest archive, where you can revisit the result, download the original image, or reuse its configuration. Downloading an existing image is different from creating another generation. Keep a copy of any artwork you intend to use and inspect its details before publishing it. Deleting a crest removes your access to that saved result, so do not delete the only copy you want to keep. Your generated artwork remains a digital image; check third-party rights and your intended use separately.

Understand the early-access allowance

Complimentary credits last for 30 days and have no cash value. They are an allowance for trying the service, not an unlimited free plan or a recurring monthly subscription. The current early-access product does not accept payments. If your balance is too low for the chosen tier, select a tier you can afford or stop before submitting; this page does not promise an available paid top-up. The general maker and family maker share the same account balance and generation prices, so opening the other tool does not create another allowance.
